The IR Configuration Utility is a Windows® application that allows you to manage configurations for calibrating infrared thermometers. These configurations are used by the 4180 and 4181 Precision Infrared Calibrators.
The IR Configuration Utility comes with a library of default configurations. These configurations contain the manufacturer recommended settings for calibrating a variety of infrared thermometers. In addition to the default configurations you may use the utility to create and store custom configurations.
Stored configurations can be uploaded to a supported calibrator. Simply connect the calibrator using the RS-232 interface, select up to 8 configurations from the list, and with the click of a button the configurations are uploaded to the calibrator and ready to use. No more deciding between which configurations to keep. By using the IR Configuration Utility you can store them all and upload configurations as you need them.
